Trump Accuses Beyoncé, Oprah of Taking ‘Illegal’ Payments to Endorse Harris — No Evidence Found

President Donald Trump has accused music superstar Beyoncé, talk show icon Oprah Winfrey, and civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton of unlawfully accepting large payments to support Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign. In a post on Truth Social late last month,

Trump claimed Beyoncé received around $11 million for a brief rally appearance, Oprah $3 million, and Sharpton $600,000 — calling the payments “totally illegal” and demanding criminal prosecution. However, Harris’s campaign, as well as representatives for the celebrities, have strongly denied the allegations.

News outlets have described Trump’s allegations as unsubstantiated, and no official investigation has been announced. As of now, there is no evidence proving any illegal payments took place.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) records do not match Trump’s figures. Instead, they show Beyoncé’s company Parkwood Entertainment was paid roughly $165,000 for production expenses, Oprah’s Harpo Productions received about $1 million for event costs, and Sharpton’s National Action Network received around $500,000 for hosting a livestreamed campaign event.
